It's the beginning of April and the ice on the Lake is disappearing quickly. So far the earliest I've seen the lake open up while owning a sailboat has been the end of April, so things look very promising! The "todo" list this Spring is not that long and one of my biggest wishes for this season has come true… new cushions for down below. This was a rather big investment, having them professionally made but well worth it if ones goal is to practically live aboard all summer!

What a beautiful weekend. The temperatures were perfect for re-coating all the wood with Cetol, applying new bottom coat and touching up the top stripe. Just have to reattach the safety netting and give the "3 Monkeys" a good wash and wax!

Another beautiful weekend and I was able to remove all the windows and reseal using 3M's 4200 Sealant. The lower stays as well as the back stay have also been replaced. The threading on the old ones were really starting to bind.

"3 Monkeys" has been launched for the season. Everything was quick and painless and the sailboat is now docked at its new home on Lake of the Woods.
