Every day I check the television and internet for weather information. Each source seems to display its data in a
different format. One uses knots, the other uses kilometers. One says celcius while the other says fahrenheit. This
can all be very confusing.
Being a software designer I decided to whip up a little application that would translate between the different
wind speeds, temperatures, distances and even give a little example of what the various wind speeds would look like.
Simply download and unzip the file listed below and then run it. If you what to know how long it would take to travel
a specific distance, enter the speed of your boat where you would normally enter the wind speed, then enter the distance
you need to travel. The time will be calculated for you.
